Auditory Evoked Potential CPT Code Changes
Here is a summary of the Auditory Evoked Potential CPT code changes for 2021. New codes were created for cVEMP and oVEMP. Four new ABR codes were created to better reflect the type of evaluation performed. This change resulted in the deletion of 2 ABR codes that were used previously. ECochG reimbursement was increased significantly. Reimbursement rates below reflect the national payment rates and may vary with location and insurance carrier.
